Graduating from Cardiff University with a first class masters degree in chemistry, Emily’s academic background equipped her with a deep knowledge of scientific principles and research methodologies. Her thesis research focused on developing synthetic models of oxygen evolving metal clusters, found in green plants with potential applications in green technology. Emily also undertook an internship at the University of Florida where she conducted research to develop tunable routes towards pseudoguaianolide natural products, with potential applications in pharmaceutical technologies. This research experience instilled a strong foundation in scientific inquiry and problem-solving, crucial assets in the ever-evolving field of IP.
Emily’s combined expertise in science, research, and IP law enables her to effectively collaborate with clients across the chemical and medical industries, ensuring their intellectual property is protected and commercially viable.
