Communications and Engagement Manager

Nerys joined Appleyard Lees in January 2020 to establish and lead the firm’s Communications function. With more than a decade of experience in internal communications, she now serves as Communications and Engagement Manager, partnering with stakeholders across the firm to shape and implement integrated strategies that align with business goals. Her focus is on delivering clear, consistent messaging that builds the firm’s reputation and strengthens engagement with both internal and external audiences.

Beyond communications, Nerys plays a pivotal role in developing the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. She also works closely with HR to support both health and well-being and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) initiatives, helping to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Nerys holds a degree in Contemporary Photographic Practice from Northumbria University and is a certified Mental Health First Aider and ED&I Ambassador.
