Lisa is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney who advises a wide range of clients, ranging from innovative start-ups and growing SMEs to globally recognised household brands across diverse sectors. Her work covers the full spectrum of trade mark matters, including strategic pre-filing advice, brand clearance, prosecution and contentious proceedings.
Lisa holds an LLB law degree from the University of Nottingham and completed the LPC alongside an LLM in Intellectual Property Law at Nottingham Trent University, graduating with distinction. Her LLM focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and IP law. Lisa has also completed the Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary University of London and the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University, attaining a distinction.
Originally from southern Africa, Lisa grew up in Mozambique, Botswana and South Africa before relocating to Europe to pursue her legal studies. Lisa brings a global perspective to her practice and is also fluent in Finnish.
