Hannah has experience supporting a wide range of clients from start-ups to large multinational companies, as well as SMEs, universities, and overseas attorneys.

She works with each client to understand their objectives and obtain commercially relevant protection for their inventions in the UK and overseas.

Hannah’s practice covers advising clients across a board range of engineering and physics fields. She particularly enjoys helping clients with inventions related to medical devices, textiles, the automotive industry and physics-based subject matter including thermodynamics, electromagnetism and optics.

Hannah’s day-to-day work includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications. She has experience working with overseas attorneys to prosecute patent applications in countries such as the US, China, Japan and India.

She also enjoys more contentious work such as opposition and appeals and undertaking patent freedom to operate projects including landscape and clearance searching.
