Devon joined Appleyard Lees in September 2025 as Events, Sponsorships and Business Development Manager.

He brings a creative and commercially focused approach to the role, with a background in events and marketing across a variety of sectors including professional services, hospitality, fast-moving consumer goods, purpose-built student accommodation and property. Prior to joining the firm, Devon managed internal and external events, business development, sponsorships, and advertising at a national law firm, helping to drive engagement and support growth objectives.

Devon joins the team as interim cover for Alison Dale whilst on maternity leave. His role contributes to the business development strategic goals of the firm and the management of the events portfolio, both international and domestic. Leading on sponsorships and partnerships secured by the firm, Devon works to ensure the return on investment of these initiatives and identify the best ways to engage with external audiences, while supporting wider business development initiatives in line with the firm’s goals.

Devon graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2016 with a BA Hons in Events Management.
