David Walsh


David obtained a BSc(Hons) degree from the University of Surrey and Michigan State University and a PhD in chemistry from UCL.

David’s clients cover a broad range of technical areas and are leaders in their fields including polymers, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, process technology, sealing technology and industrial biotechnology.

He advises multinationals, SMEs and university spin offs and is currently responsible for the patent portfolio management of several national and multinational companies.

David has extensive experience in handling patent oppositions and taking oral proceedings at the European Patent Office (EPO) and he frequently advises clients on patent infringement clearance (FTO) for new products.
