Graduating with a first class masters degree in chemistry from the University of Sheffield, Ashley then went on to complete a PhD in chemistry between the University of Sheffield and the A*STAR institute at Singapore.

Since joining the intellectual property (IP) profession, Ashley has worked with a wide range of clients and has gained experience with a variety of chemical patents.

He has particular expertise in the areas of polymers, plastics, packaging and catalysis.
