Bionow awards under the wing of Concorde
After an enforced two-year break, the annual Bionow awards were held in real life, in person and not on a computer screen! I pulled my tuxedo out of retirement for the night and headed off to the Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester Airport to celebrate the achievements of life science companies in the north of England. Amending the description of a patent application
Patent applications are legal documents with several sections to them. The most important section is the claims, which define how much legal protection the applicant is seeking for an invention. The description describes the invention in more detail and supports the claims.
