Ian is responsible for managing large-volume patent filing programs in Europe, from overseas clients. He is well respected for his ability to handle a large number of cases reliably and with a very high level of detail. Ian helps start-up companies and university spin-outs capitalise on their Intellectual Property. He has assisted several small and innovative software companies build up impressive and valuable patent portfolios. Some of these UK companies have been successfully sold to much larger multi-national organisations, while others are still going strong from their UK headquarters.

With 20 years experience as a patent attorney specialising in electronics and computers, Ian is well placed to advise innovative companies in this fast-changing and exciting area of business.
