Clifford Lees OBE

Clifford Lees is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and was our Senior Partner for many years, but having been a Chartered Patent Attorney for over forty years, has now retired from day-to-day practice. He is the author of a well known textbook on the protection of inventions and has considerable experience in the field of mechanical engineering and textiles.

Clifford is a past president of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and is a Member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and is now energetically involved in the revision of UK and EU laws on Designs and Copyright. Clifford was awarded the OBE for his services to the IP profession in 1996.
