Rachel is a UK and European Patent Attorney and handles patent matters in the chemical and mechanical fields, as well as trade mark and designs matters. She has extensive experience in representing SMEs before the UK and European Patent Offices.

Having graduated from Durham University with a first class honours degree in natural sciences (specializing in Physics and Chemistry), Rachel joined the profession with our firm in 2004. Whilst at Durham, she was awarded the Michael Weston Scholarship for Chemistry.

Rachel has lectured on intellectual property at various Universities and often, in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, gives free patent clinics where people can obtain confidential free advice on IP related matters.
