Ellie joined Appleyard Lees in September 2010 and is training under the guidance of David Walsh and Philip French to become a patent and trade mark attorney.

Ellie graduated from the University of Cambridge with a double first in Natural Sciences and a specialism in Plant Sciences. During her degree she undertook research in 'The Genetic and Structural Basis for Iridescence in Flowers' and was twice awarded the Frank Smart prize for Botany and a Senior Scholarship from Gonville and Caius college.

Ellie is based in our Leeds office and is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys.
