Appleyard Lees showed us that Intellectual Property is a toolkit of things to help US benefit from our FUNKY APPLE haircare product.

We’d discovered that APPLE WAX is great for hair shine.   We’d found an efficient “green chemical” method for extracting the wax from apples.  We’d developed our Blemish Detection Technology (BDT) to eliminate bad apples – part of our overall hands-free IT controlled manufacturing method. We’d formulated the wax into a shampoo and hair conditioner and put it in cool new bottles under our FUNKY APPLE brand, with our lil’ apple logo.

PATENT protection - on the hair shine finding (including conditioners and shampoos) - the extraction method - our Blemish Detection Technology – even on the overall IT control.

COPYRIGHT and CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION – these exist automatically in various written manufacturing protocols, computer code, web pages, labels, adverts, artwork, and much more - Appleyard Lees helped us develop good habits in identifying and handling such information.
