Dissolution of the Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property Policy

The Strategic Advisory Board for Intellectual Property Policy (SABIP) - an arm's length body reporting to the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills in relation to IP policy is to be dissolved. SABIP's former mission to provide independent and evidence-based advice to government in relation to IP policy will not be continued, but aspects of SABIP's research programme will be integrated with the UK Intellectual Property Office's work.
