HHJ Birss QC delivers judgement
HHJ Birss QC has delivered judgement in relation to the first trial conducted under the new procedural scheme in the Patents County Court (PCC). Initial indications are that the new procedures are achieving their aim of making Intellectual Property (IP) litigation more accessible and efficient. The judgement relates to a claim for trademark and copyright infringement and passing off brought by Dame Vivienne Westwood.
