Appleyard Lees at Harrogate International Enterprise Promotion Convention - 15-17 November 2009

Nicola Thompson is appearing on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys at the International Enterprise Promotion Convention in Harrogate on 15-17 November 2009.  Nicola will be presenting a workshop on intellectual property protection.  The workshop aims to provide an overview of the various types of intellectual property available, how to obtain registered rights in the UK and overseas, and to explore why intellectual property is important in commerce.

The International Enterprise Promotion Convention aims to showcase best practice and innovation in the creation and support of businesses world-wide.  Speakers from around the world will give talks on all aspects of innovation, enterprise and business.  There will be representatives from several of the UK’s leading organisations in the business support sector who will take key roles in the presentation of case studies and examples of best practice.  As wells as Nicola's workshop, Appleyard Lees are taking an exhibition stand at the Convention, and members of the firm will be available to give advice on all aspects of intellectual property.
