Appleyard Lees supports Global Entrepreneurship Week

Aimed at inspiring potential entrepreneurs to pursue their ideas, to create jobs and to build global ambition among young people and business owners alike, the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week took place on 15-21 November 2010. The initiative started six years ago as Enterprise Week in the UK before joining forces with the Kauffman Foundation (the worlds largest entrepreneurship foundation based in the US) to found the very first Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2008. Participation in the event is expected to have grown again this year. Appleyard Lees supported local events with a free seminar discussing how Intellectual Property can help entrepreneurs to be successful. The event was held at The Media Centre in Huddersfield and attended by potential entrepreneurs form local businesses and the University.
